Data Elements Framework (Illustrative)

Organization of the Framework

For ease of reference, the Healthcare Data Elements are organized into nine logical categories (A–I). Each category groups related healthcare information according to its primary purpose while maintaining a single standardized numbering structure across the entire framework.

This standardized organization demonstrates how individual Healthcare Data Elements can be systematically assembled into different healthcare documents while preserving the meaning, consistency, and re-usability of healthcare information throughout the patient's healthcare journey.
